Description

This variety, whose name means "Fragrant Red Orchid", was born in Taiwan. It was developed on the Phoenix Mountain, in the Fujian, during the Qing dynasty (17th, 18th centuries), and went back again to Taiwan, to be reintroduced in the garden of Master Ye, on the Feng Huang mountain. Reuniting two distant terroirs, this tea is quite unique, and mixes fruity flavours, reminiscent of ripe fruits, with a spicy flavour that strongly evokes speculoos.

Tea and health

According to Chinese traditional medicine, wulong (oolong) blue-green teas are good for the cardiac system, help reduce fatigue by stimulating the nervous system, eliminate toxins, favour digestion, regulate the urinary system... A daily intake of these teas (6 to 9 g) has relaxing and anti-stress effects, also supporting weight loss by improving the metabolism of lipids.
