One of the most famous taiwanese teas, growing in the mountain area of Nantou, in the center of the island. The gardens, on the mountain's slopes, benefit from a cool climate and a rich ground. The tea leaves are rolled in small uniform balls, of a beautiful dark green colour. The tea is only slightly oxidized and its pale yellow liquor offers a strong aroma and a floral taste of a somewhat oily texture. To prepare in gong fu cha.
